    So Ozzy was first …
    Hulk Hogan yesterday …

Do these things always come in threes?

They are kinda hitting hard which is weird … I’ve never been a fan of Black Sabbath … though I spent some of yesterday listening and wow I never really realised how good his voice was back in the day.

I also never got into the whole WWF or whatever it was / is called now WWE?

However both figures were and are pretty iconic … when two pass at the same time it just feels like it hits hard

Apparently so. I was always told that celebrity deaths always come in 3.
I wasn’t aware of this person, but jazz musician, Chuck Mangione passed away yesterday too, at the age of 84.

I wasn’t really into Ozzy or Black Sabbath myself growing up (I grew up with The Eagles), but I knew the more popular hits, some of which I mentioned in the Ozzy thread https://caint.ie/post/31

WWF (World Wrestling Federation) became WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) in 2002 after a trademark dispute with the WWF (World Wildlife Fund).

As a wrestling fan, while Hogan was a major star for kids in the 80s/90s, after retiring from in-ring competition, his legacy was tarnished due to racist remarks and treatment of colleagues during the 80s/90s that wasn’t found out until afterwards.
He was for a period of time blacklisted from WWE and had his “WWE Hall of Fame” status removed after a conversation was leaked with him using slurs and derogatory comments about his daughter’s relationship.
You will see a lot of people ‘celebrating’ that he is gone now.

Grew up with a mix of ABBA / The Beatles / Don Williams 😄 and lots of classical music. Hit grunge around 95 … before that was just listening to whatever was on the radio I guess.

I saw various things about Hogan and his comments … and saw various photos as well which were kinda shocking but … par for the course these days with celebrities I guess. As I never really followed him that much he was moer the WWF guy!
