Dead Body (85m, 2017, Tubi)

Low budget indie whodunnit-horror. It was fine but forgettable.

Return to House on Haunted Hill (79m, 2007, Tubi)

As far as sequels go? This one is not great. Some fun death scenes, but overall? Kind of a snoozer.

House on Haunted Hill (93m, 1999, Tubi)

Re-watch.
I like this one anyway, but I always forget how damn good the soundtrack / score for this one is.

Liked the movie, loved the ending.

Demonic (83m, 2015, Tubi)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1841642/
This was ... good enough? I wasn't blown away by it, but there were a couple of good scares and I enjoyed it well enough.
@consumablejoy I am a lazy finisher.
Cross stitch, as soon as the last stitch is in and I take it off the hoop or frame, it's done.
Crochet and knit, I have to get the ends weaved, but I don't make anything complex enough that it actually *needs* blocking.
@stargrace & accepted!

It Follows (100m, 2014, MAX)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3235888/
I'm not sure how I avoided this one until now. Super creepy.
@stargrace I don't think we are. I'm Krikket#1542.
@Lironah A good playlist is undervalued for so many things, but with attempting to follow videos, I can't process both at the same time until I'm very comfortable with the movements and transitions.
However, I did just dance with dogs while cleaning the house, and that's an A++ movement activity.
(2 out of the 3 dogs in the house will absolutely dance with me, and I love it.)
@stargrace usually even when I am just ruminating, I’m not opposed to well intentioned advice.
I have been looking at YouTube stuff, but a lot of “beginner” stuff is still more than I can get my body to do or than I have space for.
But I expect to struggle with *building* the habit as much as I will with finding things that feel feasible. Will check out those links, though, thank you.
As someone who has not had any sort of regular fitness routine in over 20 years, I'm not exactly sure how I transition from "I'm going to do this silly 7 minute video every morning, I guess" to something more comprehensive.
Gym memberships are out of my budget, and something that I've wasted a whole bunch of money on in the past without ever actually setting foot inside, so that's off the table. Also don't really have the budget or the space for home exercise equipment (although I would love to figure out how to get a recumbent bike at some unspecified future point).
Still kind of working it out in my head, but I'm fairly certain this is the next thing I want to get figured out as I get closer to making the life I want into my reality.
@stargrace I have done very little with retail this entire expansion except for the first few months. I don't even have a current sub, but I loved the last remix, so I'm going to at least shell out for a month and see how I feel about it.
@stargrace I missed *a lot* of Legion, so on the one hand I'm kind of excited about this, but on the other? I'm probably *still* going to start with a shaman because that's what's comfortable, even though I'd love to see some of the other class stories.
I think I only got shaman, druid, priest and DK through their class hall stories - maybe paladin? Will almost definitely do warlock, maybe hunter?

Trap (105m, 2024, MAX)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26753003/
M. Night Shyamalan's movies are *very* hit and miss for me, and I tend to enjoy the ones that most people seem to hate. I thought this was a fun movie, but it was another one that just didn't hit enough "horror" notes for my taste.

Puppet Master II (88m, 1990, Tubi)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100438/
Re-watch. I know these aren't *good* movies, but man, I love them. Finished this one very late last night.

Lord of Misrule (104m, 2023, Hulu)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11893676/
I'm not a big folk horror watcher, so I maybe should have passed on this. It was a bit slow for my taste, but not bad.

I See You (98m, 2019, Tubi)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6079516/
Too many plot threads, not enough horror movie tropes for me. Not a bad film, just not what I was looking for.

Truth or Die (96m, 2012, Amazon Prime)

This one actually surprised me more than once. Not great, but not awful.

Are You Scared? (79m, 2006, Tubi)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0845955/
Cool concept, weak script, absolutely abysmal acting. I can't believe there's a sequel.
I am so not watching the sequel.
