While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never sat on a crow it came up that she has never been sat on by a cat. Like, not even once during childhood.
Another colleague admitted they also have never been sat on by a cat.
My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life sat on by a cat.

@catsalad If I sit down on the couch and my cat sees it (she’s deaf) she will BOLT over to me try to get in my lap, which can make arranging blankets and juggling tablet/book/food and drink difficult when there is an eager, purring, lapful of 4 kg/total, 1833 kg/foot, cat shoving her behind in my face, but we all make sacrifices in life, don’t we?

@catsalad I have indeed been sat on by my cat Coltrane (so obviously named yet people do occasionally ask why he is named that), and he perfers (specially when hungry) to sat himself upon me to force me to move.

@catsalad Sadly no, I once paid for an hour in a cafe full of cats to have them sit on me but the cats insisted on standing on me instead and it didn't feel good
